New Innovations Funding Awards for Education Granted for 2023-2024
The Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators is pleased to announce twenty new Innovations Funding awards for the 2023-2024 academic year. Totaling over $336,000, these intramural grants address a range of priorities in teaching and learning approaches and curricular content areas and are expected to make significant contributions to educational excellence at UCSF.
The call resulted in strong proposals for which we sought and identified additional sponsors including Academy-based and Matched Endowed Chair holders, Center for Healthcare Value, Department of Ophthalmology, Office of Graduate Medical Education, Program for Interprofessional Practice and Education, San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and the School of Pharmacy. The Academy also thanks the Estate of Fumi Fowells for their generous donation.
