UCSF's Education Showcase Highlights the Work of Faculty, Staff, and Learners of Health Professions Education and Educational Scholarship

In early May, the Center for Faculty Educators hosted UCSF's 22nd Annual Education Showcase, which highlighted the work of UCSF's faculty, staff, and learners in health professions education and educational scholarship. The Education Showcase included more than 80 presentations, with more than 70 being mini-oral presentations. All presentations emphasized the extensive collaborations among and between faculty and learners about the latest educational scholarship at UCSF and abroad.

Critically Reflective Practice for a Compassionate Healthcare System

Critical reflection and compassion are driving forces in learner development and patient care. Academy member Mike Rabow, MD, posed two key questions to Stella Ng, PhD, a recognized scholar in this area whose keynote address, Critically Reflective Practice for a Compassionate Healthcare System, will delve deeper into these areas and the healthcare system. Her keynote kicks off UCSF's Education Showcase Plenary 1 session on Monday, May 24, from 12:30 to 4:30 pm.
