The Education Showcase was held May 24-27, 2021. The 2021 program book is available to download.
The Center for Faculty Educators is proud to present UCSF's 20th Annual Education Showcase, an event that highlights the scholarly work of UCSF faculty, residents, and students, and encourages continued evaluation and dissemination of this work.
Showcase events will include a pre-conference for presentations by graduating students on May 7; the Accelerated Path to Teach for UCSF Certificates on May 23, and Showcase Week, May 24-27. The program will be filled with opportunities for faculty development and to see the variety and quality of the work in which our UCSF colleagues are engaged throughout the year. All events will be virtual and scheduled over half-days.
Our visiting scholar, Stella Ng, PhD, is joining us from the Wilson Centre at the University of Toronto. Dr. Ng is Director and Scientist at the Centre for Interprofessional Education and is currently an AMS Phoenix Fellow in Compassion and AI/Digital Technology.
- Keynote address: Critically Reflective Practice for a Compassionate Healthcare System
- Workshop: Aligning epistemologies in education: Why this matters and what faculty can do
About the Education Showcase

Sponsored by UCSF's Center for Faculty Educators (CFE), and enhanced by visiting scholars, the event is filled with opportunities to see the variety and quality of the work our UCSF colleagues are engaged in throughout the year.
The program features keynote lectures and peer-reviewed oral presentations reporting scholarly work in health professions education.
