November 15, 2018
| By Karin Fleming
To support students’ learning and assess their inquiry skills in the Bridges Core Inquiry Curriculum, Sam Brondfield, MD, Chief Hematology Oncology Fellow at UCSF, collaborated with Karen Hauer, MD, PhD, Associate Dean, Assessment, and the inquiry team to develop a new inquiry assessment tool. The authors used a rigorous process to develop and implement the tool in Inquiry small groups, and then gather evidence of validity. Their findings were published online in Academic Medicine. Learn more about the article by first author Dr. Brondfield and senior author Dr. Hauer.
