Join us for an interactive webinar on how to effectively integrate community engagement into your research or project using a Community Advisory Board (CAB). This session will walk you through practical tools from the CAB Toolkit, including considerations for recruiting, orienting, and collaborating with community partners. We’ll also connect these strategies to broader approaches such as compensating community members and building meaningful partnerships so you can move beyond one-time engagement toward sustained, trust-based relationships. Whether you’re new to CABs or looking to strengthen your approach, this webinar will help you put it all together. Our guest speaker, Abby Cabrera, MPH, is the Associate Director of Research and Community Engagement and works with the UCSF CTSI Community Engagement Team. The UCSF CTSI Community Engagement Team helps UCSF researchers by providing resources and tools to encourage and support community-engaged research projects. The team aims to connect academic research, health policies, and community practices to build trust and improve the health of our surrounding communities!
