UCSF's People Manager Skills for Research Mentors(UCSF Community)

Welcome UCSF Community:

This training, developed in partnership between the Office of Career and Professional Development at University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) and the Biotechnology Program at City College of San Francisco (CCSF), is designed to teach current and future life science professionals how to efficiently and effectively develop, lead, and support interns, trainees and employees of all backgrounds in an effort to foster productive, high-functioning working relationships.

This training is tailored for scientists who currently (or intend to) mentor and/or supervise in either academe or industry and is part of an NSF-funded initiative to build more effective lab environments.

Registered participants may be asked to complete workshop surveys and assessments in order to fine tune this professional development series for future dissemination.
