Grand Rounds: Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children and COVID-19
Objectives:
1. Recognize the symptoms associated with Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C).
2. Assess the laboratory evaluation and imaging indicated in suspected cases of MIS-C.
3. Identify the cardiac effects of MIS-C
4. Examine the management of children with MIS-C.
5. Describe what is known thus far of the prognosis and discharge follow-up for patients with MIS-C.
