Describe how mast cell activation syndrome can impact mood and behavior in children. 2. Use clinical symptoms and laboratory evidence to determine whether a child might have mast cell activation syndrome. 3. Differentiate between using consensus 1 and consensus 2 criteria to diagnose mast cell activation syndrome.   UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland is accredited by the California Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
