Bay Area Breast Cancer Forum

This event promises to be an insightful and informative session, and we would be honored to have you join us! Date: Wednesday, July 10 Time: 6pm to 730pm PST Location: Virtual (Zoom)  Our UCSF providers are back from the 2024 Annual ASCO Meeting, which took place from May 31 to June 4, and are excited to share the latest updates and insights with you. This is a fantastic opportunity to stay informed about recent advancements in breast cancer research and treatment. Our host, Dr. Hope Rugo, will be joined by her UCSF Breast Oncology colleagues Dr. Laura Huppert and Dr. Jo Chien. ‌If you have questions for our panel that you hope for them to address, please message us ahead so we can pass the questions along to them. The Q&A function will be available during the forum but if you send messages ahead, we can have our panel prepare responses. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-  The UCSF Breast Care Center, under the direction of Dr. Hope Rugo, hosts a bi-monthly Bay Area Breast Cancer Forum at which health experts explore the latest developments and advancements in breast cancer research. The forum, organized by Melody Gawliu, provides an excellent venue for our patients and their families to gather new information about topics related to breast cancer and breast health. Forum nights are designed as casual events.  Past forum topics have ranged from hormone therapy and reversing hormone resistance to decision-making and breast cancer survivorship.
