Steven Tringali, DO, FACP, is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at UCSF Fresno. He is the Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency. Dr. Tringali's clinical work is at Community Regional Medical Center and VA Central California Healthcare System where he attends on the medicine wards. He also attends on the procedure rotation. His interests are in point-of-care ultrasound, procedural training, teaching residents and medical students, and coaching residents to become better teachers.
He has published clinical research in cardiovascular risk factors, including blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, and cardiovascular events. Prior to medical school he worked as a software developer. Today he continues to take a special interest in innovative technology and its potential to transform medical education.
