Sandrijn van Schaik, MD PhD is a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and the Fellowship Program Director for the Sub-Specialty Training Program in Pediatric Critical Care at UCSF. She also serves as the Education Director of the University’s Kanbar Center for Simulation and Clinical Skills and is in charge of Faculty Development for the new UCSF School of Medicine Bridges Curriuclum. She is a course director for an annual, national faculty development course for medical educators, which launched in February 2018. Her academic career focus is on health professions education with a research focus on experiential learning and interprofessional collaboration.
