Assoc Prof of Clin Medicine

I am an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology. My clinical focus is on the care of hospitalized patients with solid tumors as Chief of the inpatient oncology consult service and Medical Director of inpatient oncology. I attend on the solid oncology consult service and the internal medicine teaching service at Moffitt-Long Hospital, working with nurse practitioners, fellows, residents, and students. My research in health professions education focuses on teaching and learning during inpatient consultation. I am broadly interested in figuring out the best ways for trainees and generalists to learn oncology.
