Polo Black Golde
Business Systems Analyst
I joined the Technology Enhanced Education team in May 2017 as Business Systems Analyst. I work closely with TEE's project stakeholders to specify, design, test, and deliver IT solutions for medical education. Stripped of jargon, this means my role on each project is to uncover the needs of our users and to ensure, with thorough documentation, that technical efforts are tuned to those needs at each stage. My main project is the creation of a consolidated data system for the School of Medicine's assessment and evaluation data. Before joining UCSF, I spent several years at the NYU School of Medicine during a major curricular reform, where I also worked on digital tools and data systems for assessment and outcomes initiatives. I am a Bay Area native with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and philosophy from Williams College.
