Megan Richie, MD

Dr. Richie attended medical school and residency at the University of Pennsylvania before completing a Neurohospitalist fellowship at UCSF. She joined the faculty in the Neurohospitalist Division of the Department of Neurology at UCSF in 2016, and spends most of her time seeing patients on the inpatient neurology consult and primary services at UCSF Health including the Parnassus and SFGH campuses.
Dr. Richie is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents, and has directed the neurology medical student clerkship since 2018 and an outpatient lumbar puncture clinic for residents since 2017. Research interests include neuro-inflammatory and neuro-infectious disease as well as medical education.
