Manuel Pardo, MD
Professor of Anesthesia
I am the Vice Chair for Education at the UCSF Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care. For ten years (2009-2019), I served as Program Director of the UCSF Anesthesia Residency. My interests include undergraduate and graduate medical education, medical simulation training, and innovative training pathways in residency programs.
I am a founding member of the UCSF Academy of Medical Educators. In the past, I have served as Chair of the Academy's Innovations Funding and Scholarship Working Groups. For ten years, I held the Sol Shnider Endowed Chair for Anesthesia Education, one of the matched endowed chairs co-sponsored by the Academy and my department.
I welcome collaborations in teaching, evaluation and assessment of clinical skills related to the fields of anesthesiology and critical care medicine, at any level of trainee.
