Lisa Winston, MD

Lisa Winston received her MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1994. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at UCSF and was Chief Resident at San Francisco General Hospital. Dr. Winston then completed fellowships in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Pharmacology at UCSF.
She directs the Inpatient Medical Services and is the Hospital Epidemiologist at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. Her research interests are infection control and prevention and antimicrobial resistant bacterial pathogens.
