Quantitative Research Asst.
Jason Luong is a quantitative researcher at UCSF School of Medicine who uses data to improve medical education and healthcare training in practical, equitable ways. He works with assessment and performance data, building analytics tools in Python and R to analyze how students, physicians, and care teams are performing. His work blends statistics and data engineering, but the goal is straightforward: turn complex, messy data into clear insights, useful reports, and real improvements in how people are trained to deliver care.
