Emma Samelson-Jones, MD

Dr. Emma Samelson-Jones is a clinician-educator within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences who holds a joint appointment in the Department of Medicine. She is an attending psychiatrist in the Psychotic Experiences Clinic and the general Adult Psychiatry Clinic at Langley-Porter, and in the primary care practice of the General Medicine Clinic at Mount Zion.
Dr. Samelson-Jones is a member of the Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators at UCSF, and is interested in curriculum development and teaching focused on improving the mental health care provided by primary care providers. She serves as the Psychiatry Site Director for Medical Student Education at Parnassus and the psychiatry liaison for the Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship at Parnassus (PISCES Program).
