Dr. Raymond is a medical dermatologist and her clinical focus includes: general dermatology, complex medical dermatology, teledermatology, and high risk skin cancer. She is the Director of the High Risk Skin Cancer Clinic, where she sees patients who are immunosuppressed due to solid organ transplant, bone marrow transplant, or various genetic syndromes. Dr. Raymond specializes in using oral and topical therapies to help reduce the burden of pre-cancerous skin lesions that are common in the immunosuppressed patient population.
Dr. Raymond divides her time between UCSF and the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Health Care System where she attends a complex medical dermatology clinic, surgery clinic, and provides teledermatology services. She is managing a grant from the Office of Rural Health that provides funding to allow San Francisco to serve as a telereading site for other rural VA locations in Northern California and the Pacific Islands.
In addition, Dr. Raymond enjoys clinical teaching and mentoring students and residents. She serves as the UCSF School of Medicine’s Confidential Career Advisor for the Department of Dermatology.
