Enrolling in UC SHIP health insurance plan

Is there anything we need to do to enroll in the UC SHIP health insurance plan?

Answer

All medical students will automatically be enrolled in the UCHIP plan. Registered students are automatically enrolled in UC-SHIP. You will need to opt-out of the health insurance coverage if you are using another health insurance company. Please visit: https://studenthealth.ucsf.edu/insurance
