Is it good to reach out to your first-choice program (having already interviewed with that program)?

Check in with your specialty advisor as the culture around this is very specialty specific. For most programs, unless specifically told not to contact them, it may be helpful to let your first-choice program know that they are your first choice. Remember you should only tell one program if they are your number one choice.
