Vaccines for MS1
Are there any plans to vaccinate F1 class of 2024 students early in light of the in-person aspects planned for the curriculum, the recent/expected rise in COVID infections, and the lack of clinical exposure thus far in the curriculum?
Answer
We are advocating for medical students to receive a vaccine. We do not have more information at this time as we still do not know how much vaccine UCSF will receive. Medical students are being considered as the part of the first group of people to be vaccinated. That group is then broken into prioritized segments. At this time, clinical facing medical students will likely be prioritized first. As soon as we receive additional updates, we will let you know.
