How should we manage responding to interview offers while we are on clinical rotations?

If you are working clinically (like in the OR) during interview times, we recommend giving your phone to someone else and tell that person to accept the offer for you if an interview request comes in. Another strategy is to set up a dedicated email for interviews, and set it to a separate specific tone so that you know if an interview email has come in that requires you to immediately respond. This is particularly important for surgical sub-specialties because they tend to schedule all interviews during a three-day period.
