Is there any reason to physically be in SF during interviews?

Answer

If you still have outstanding graduation requirements (SPAN, SUB-Is) that require that you be in San Francisco, you of course need to be in San Francisco. If you are planning to come back for an important clinical rotation and sub-internship, you need to make sure that you return within enough time to meet all SHCS return to campus guidelines.

If you are not going to be in San Francisco for interviews, also make sure you will have adequate power and internet.  If you are in California, confirm that your PGE Code is 50 as that will ensure that you will not lose internet due to rolling blackouts during fire season. Finally, we recommend that students be in San Francisco during Match Week.
