Testing for congestion due to fires or seasonal allergies
If I am on my sub-i and become congested, do I really take time off to get tested when most likely it’s from the wildfires or seasonal allergies?
Answer
The key is that you should always put the patients first. Answer the Conversa app truthfully and reach out to SHCS for help if you have concerns. All symptomatic students should get a test. We get the test results in less than 24 hours. You can return to campus within 3-4 days. If you do have seasonal allergies, you should get tested but can continue to rotate. Just send a secure message to the SHCS nurse and let them know your situation.
