If we want to volunteer in the community, both organized by UCSF and by other organizations, do we have to notify UCSF or be cleared by some process?

F1 medical students are not currently allowed to participate in UCSF sponsored clinical volunteer activities. All students involved in COVID-19 external volunteer efforts, elective or paid activities that increase your risk of contracting COVID-19, must sign this form and return to Lee Jones.
