Telehealth requirements
Will students who have taken part in telehealth with Family Medicine have the same requirements when the clerkships start?
Answer
Telehealth is considered an aspect of clinical medicine. When you’re seeing patients even if its virtual visit it still counts as a clinical interaction, but it doesn’t substitute for some of the in-person things that need to happen, i.e. doing an in-person physical exam. Yes, you get credit for those, but it depends on the clerkship what you get credit for specifically. Please check the CLE for your respective clerkship.
