UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine Predoctoral Research Fellowship
Purpose
The UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine has yearlong fellowship positions available for doctoral students in the health, biological, or social sciences to do a research internship in the field of integrative medicine. Applicants work closely with a faculty member at the Osher Center, typically on part of an existing research project. Examples of current research areas include studies on meditation, diet, exercise, acupuncture, mindful childbirth, and interventions to increase positive mood.
Details
Approx. $37,440 /yr. includes health insurance plus support for biostatistics, other clinical research training courses, and a small travel budget.

Requirements
Open to all students in enrolled in a doctoral level program at UCSF
Requirements:
- Students are expected to be at UCSF for training from July through June.
- Complete research project under UCSF faculty mentor.
- Monthly Works-in-Progress (WIP) Meetings.
- Monthly Faculty Seminars.
- Bi-Monthly Journal Club and Research seminars
- Complete Designing Clinical Research Course
- Goals of the experience include developing clinical research and biostatistical skills and using them to produce a publishable article.
