Purpose
The Medical Research Scholars Program endeavors to be the premier training program for future clinician-scientists that advances health by inspiring careers in biomedical research. By engaging students in basic, clinical, or translational research investigations, a curriculum rich in didactics and professional development, and a robust mentorship and advising program, MRSP prepares its Scholars to become tomorrow’s leaders in medicine and biomedical research.

  • Lectures, clinical teaching rounds, journal clubs, training in clinical protocol development and conduct in human research, networking, and specialized workshops.

  1. 12-month commitment.
  2. Enrolled SOM, SOD students in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year.
  3. U.S. citizenship and permanent residents.
