Global Health Service Partnership Volunteer
Purpose
To deploy physician and nurses to medical and nursing schools to Africa as health educators and mentors to build health care capacity. This is a partnership between Seed Global Health, the US Peace Corps, and the US President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief.
Details
Board certified doctors and nurses.
- Monthly living stipend
- Housing, transportation to and from the country of service
- Medical care
- Readjustment allowance
- Malpractice insurance
- Loan/debt repayment of up to $30,000

Requirements
- Volunteers will primarily function as supervising academic educators/trainers/providers within institutional settings.
- Applicants must be board certified in specialties required by the needs of the host medical and nursing schools (see the website for details).
- Applicants must possess personal characteristics link excellent organization, communication and writing skills; cultural sensitivity
