Afya Bora Consortium Fellowship in Global Health Leadership

Purpose
To provide trainees with a set of practical skills that will prepare you for leadership positions in government, non-government, and academic health institutions in developing countries.
Details
  • Stipends up to $20,000, as well as health insurance, travel costs to the international field site, and tuition support for 2 – 3 online courses.

Requirements
  1. In order to be eligible to apply all applicants MUST meet the following criteria: Be a citizen or permanent resident of US, Kenya, Botswana, Uganda, Cameroon, or Tanzania.
  2. Medical applicants need to have a M.D. or MBChB with Masters degree in related field.
  3. Nursing applicants need to have a Masters degree in Nursing, Public Health or a related field (doctoral level preferred).
  4. Other Public health professionals must have a doctoral degree in Public Health or a related field (PhD, DrPH, Pharm.D)
