Are you new to working on clusters and high performance computing (HPC)? New to Wynton? This workshop will start with basic definitions for computing in a cluster environment, including types of nodes, queues, and containers. It will also cover how to transfer files, submit jobs, and run analyses. Analyses can be simple scripts, pipelines, or custom-built containers. By the end of this course you will be able to: Get around Wynton Transfer files to and from Wynton Submit jobs to the queue system Launch pipelines Find available software modules and container resources Build your own custom containers Learning Path: This is an advanced workshop in the Computer Skills series. Prior experience with command line is required.
