Candida auris induces IFNg to colonize mammalian skin

Objectives:
Discuss mechanisms of microbial colonization in the skin.
Discuss differential effects of cytokines (IFNg and IL-17) on the epidermis
Discuss how these cytokines promote either microbial persistence or clearance
