Testing Websites with Users with Disabilities

Wednesday, April 09 at 9:00 am - 10:30 am Add to Calendar 2025-04-09 09:00:00 2025-04-09 10:30:00 Testing Websites with Users with Disabilities Gain insight into how well UCSF sites work for users with disabilities by attending a live assistive technology demonstration on a featured website. Sign up to attend. Each month we demonstrate the user journey of a specific featured UCSF website. For this specific forum, we feature UCSF public-facing sites. These sessions focus on Assistive Technology (AT) users and are twofold: To create awareness of AT users and their experiences. To provide insight and understanding of the barriers users with disabilities experience when interacting with content. This perception gives UCSF website owners valuable insight into how well their site is working for users with disabilities. A previous attendee said “I found the session extremely beneficial. It was helpful to have the session broken down into specific sections and ‘tasks’ of the website to see how a user using assistive technology would accomplish their goals on the site. I've come away with solid action items that I plan on discussing with my team.”  If you would like to learn more about this session, please visit our event page.
