Scholarly Writing intensive Workshop (3 days)

Join us for an immersive three-day workshop via Zoom, designed to enhance your skills in scholarly writing within the health professions education sphere. Whether you’re writing about innovations in health professions education for learners, residents, fellows, faculty, researching education topics, or preparing reviews and commentaries, this workshop is tailored to elevate your writing.
Each day combines interactive presentations, hands-on application exercises, and group discussions. Ample independent writing time is scheduled, with opportunities for personalized consultations and feedback.
Presenters include:
Toni Gallo from the senior editorial staff of Academic Medicine
Anna Cianciolo from Southern Illinois University and the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Teaching and Learning in Medicine
Bridget O'Brien from UCSF, associate editor at Academic Medicine
Author Panel sharing tips and strategies for scholarly writing.
Learning Objectives:
Write with more confidence & joy (and/or less fear & dread)
Write more clearly, concisely, and compellingly
Plan a way to write more consistently and efficiently
In Your Registration: Please provide a brief description of the manuscript you plan to work on during the workshop. This may be a research paper, innovation description, commentary/perspective, or review paper (250 words max).
