Lunch and Learn – Using Jira to manage project work at UCSF
Jira is a tool utilized to manage your project work from ideation to completion. Jira is a powerful project management tool to not structure your projects and their related deliverables, the application facilitates collaboration within your department to ensure that your project deadlines are achieved.
During this session, we will walk through the basics of leveraging Jira in your work in addition to the following topics:
Agile Project Management Basics (e.g., Scrum and Kanban)
Sprints, Backlogs, and Backlog grooming
Creating and Structuring Projects (Epics, Stories (e.g., Story, Bug, and Enhancements)
Creating Work Items
Navigating Jira Boards
Developing Workflows in Jira
Introduction to Reports and Dashboards
The remainder of the session will feature a question and answer session to provide answers to your questions about Jira! This session will be recorded for those unable to attend this session live.
