Joint Stanford–UCSF–Kaiser Permanente Cancer Population Sciences Retreat
Researchers and trainees are invited to the Joint Stanford–UCSF–Kaiser Permanente Cancer Population Sciences Retreat, a full-day event designed to strengthen collaborations across the three institutions. The program will highlight ongoing research and shared resources, showcase trainee work, and create opportunities for discussion, networking, and future project development.
Participants will have opportunities to learn about research, programs, datasets, and infrastructure across the three institutions; engage with trainee research through posters and selected flash talks; discuss shared priorities and emerging directions in cancer population science; and identify opportunities for future collaboration.
Tentative Scientific Session Topics
Transdisciplinary Programs
Population-based Data Integration
Structural and Social Drivers of Health
Omics, Biomarkers, and Precision Population Health
Cancer Health Behaviors, Lifestyle Factors, and Survivorship
Prevention, Screening, and Interception
Scientific sessions will include flash talks and panel discussions featuring participants across institutions and career stages. Lunch breakout discussions will focus on key research themes. Lunch will be provided.
Poster Session & Call for Abstracts
Trainees and investigators are invited to submit abstracts for the poster session by September 11, 2026. Posters may feature new or ongoing work, and participants may reuse or adapt posters previously presented at other meetings. Poster prizes will recognize best overall poster, best visual communication, and greatest cross-institutional collaboration potential.
