International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is an opportunity for survivors of suicide loss come together to find connection, understanding, and hope through their shared experience. It is held annually each November here in San Francisco and at hundreds of other sites across the globe.
UCSF Dept. of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences faculty and the San Francisco VA Medical Center's Suicide Prevention Program staff will moderate discussion groups where attendees can share their experiences and ask questions.
Admission is free, but advance registration is requested. Drop-ins are welcome. Non-Loss Survivors may also register to attend.
