Debas Academy of Medical Educators at UCSF (AME) invites faculty interested in education or joining the AME to an hour informational session. The session is for anyone wanting to know more about the AME: future applicants, mentors of future applicants, or department and division leaders. The goal of the session will be to answers two questions: Why should I apply to the AME and what are the potential benefits to my career? What does the application process look like and how can I prepare myself to be a good candidate? Introduce resources available via the Center for Faculty Educators. We will have a panel of AME members from across the campus to answer these questions. Please invite junior faculty in your departments who might be interested in education to attend. The session will be recorded.
