Clinician-Led Innovation in Dermatology
Lilit Garibyan MD, PhD, FAAD, Physician-Scientist-Innovator, Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Associate Professor of Dermatology, Harvard Medical School, Director of the Magic Wand Initiative, Massachusetts General Hospital
Objectives:
1. Describe the key stages of biomedical innovation, from problem identification to clinical translation and patient impact.
2. Compare injectable cooling technology with conventional topical cooling approaches in cryolipolysis, including mechanistic, clinical, and practical differences.
3. Identify and apply four core behavioral skills that enable clinicians and scientists to become more effective innovators.
