What is cancer genetic testing? Would this testing be recommended for me? The UCSF Lynch Syndrome Center is offering a series of educational workshops to provide more information on recommendations for cancer genetic testing using UCSF’s new Hereditary Cancer Risk Calculator tool.
We aim to provide information on:
Who is at risk for a hereditary cancer syndrome?
What is genetic testing and why is it important?
What are the current guidelines for cancer genetic testing?
How to use the Hereditary Cancer Risk Calculator to learn about recommendations for genetic testing for Lynch syndrome and Hereditary Breast and Ovarian cancer syndrome
