Michelle Melisko, Laura Huppert, Jo Chien, Hemali Batra-Sharma, Kelsey Natsuhara, and Rita Mukhtar -- are excited to bring you the latest updates from the recent ‌San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS). ‌SABCS is designed to provide state-of-the-art information on the experimental biology, etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of breast cancer and premalignant breast disease to an international audience of academic and private physicians and researchers. The scientific program consists of formal lectures by experts in clinical, translational, and basic research, selected slide and poster presentations, forums and case discussions.  ------------------- About the UCSF Bay Area Breast Cancer Forum The UCSF Breast Care Center hosts a bi-monthly Bay Area Breast Cancer Forum at which health experts explore the latest developments and advancements in breast cancer research. The forum, organized by Melody Gawliu, provides an excellent venue for our patients and their families to gather new information about topics related to breast cancer and breast health. Forum nights are designed as casual events.  Past forum topics have ranged from hormone therapy and reversing hormone resistance to decision-making and breast cancer survivorship.
