  • After-Hours Food Trays: Food trays can be obtained by trainees from nutrition services after regular service hours. You can request trays from Building 203, Room BB2 during these times:
    • Breakfast: 7:45 AM – 9:45 AM
    • Lunch: 12:30 PM – 1:45 PM
    • Dinner: 5:30 PM – 6:15 PM

Residents can buy grab-and-go items between hot meal services. Residents and fellows receive $23/day for food using their meal cards.

Food Trucks: Food trucks come to campus on weekdays as an additional lunch option. Meal cards cannot be used here.

Lucky Coffee In building 5 lobby: includes coffee drinks, sandwiches, grab-and-go items. Open weekdays. Meal Cards cannot be used here.

Unique Options at ZSFG: Housestaff Lounge (in the basement of Building 5, GL18) has a refrigerator stocked with grab-and-go meal options (approximately 40 meals available around 6PM), fruit, yogurt, and snacks. Contact chief resident/fellow or Trainee Administrator for door code. Vending machines available 24 hours in staff break area on 2^nd floor, building 5 near cafeteria (badge swipe access)

• Looking for information about where to live? Campus housing is often the best option, especially for new students. Visit the Campus Life Services Housing Services website for information about living on campus as well as useful resources for students who choose to live off-campus.
• Residents and fellows are eligible for UCSF campus housing. Housing Services also provides resources for locating off-campus housing. UCSF Housing Services has created a new brochure, "Exploring Our Housing Communities" available for download or in print by contacting Brittany Boznanski in the GME office.
