Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) Medical Scholars Summer Program

Purpose
To promote the subspecialty of infectious diseases, the IDSA Education and Research Foundation offers scholarships to medical students with mentorship by an IDA member or fellow. It is the responsibility of IDSA members and fellows to identify and solicit interested students.
Details
  • $2000 award: $1500 in April/May, and $500 after the post-project report is submitted to the IDSA.
  • Each student must have a mentor who is an IDSA member or fellow.
  • Complete a brief final report at the end of the activity.
