Please join us for our next community talk featuring STAR's speech language pathologist, Tara Rooney, MA, CCC-SLP.

Tara is a licensed speech language pathologist with experience in evidence-based treatment and assessments of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders. While providing treatment and evaluation services at UCSF Star Center, she is also pursuing a Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology at Northwestern University.  Prior to joining the STAR Center, she worked at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford and Boston Children’s Hospital. She was also a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) Fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include investigating best practices in parent education, early identification assessment, and siblings with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
