Tara is a licensed speech language pathologist with experience in evidence-based treatment and assessments of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders. While providing treatment and evaluation services at UCSF Star Center, she is also pursuing a Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology at Northwestern University.  Prior to joining the STAR Center, she worked at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford and Boston Children’s Hospital. She was also a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) Fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital. Please join us for our next community talk featuring STAR's speech language pathologist, Tara Rooney, MA, CCC-SLP.
