Students & Postdocs: Would you like to understand what people mean when they refer to a career in Tech Transfer?  Then this “kickoff” workshop for Tech Transfer month is for you! 

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

Understand what is meant by "tech transfer" and some of the roles/job titles associated with this work sector Understand some ways to break into the tech transfer field as a PhD student or postdoc Learn more about the UCSF tech transfer internship program

Whether you are just curious to learn more about what tech transfer jobs exist, or you know you are ready to position yourself to get employment in tech transfer, this is the session for you. Come to gain a little more information and the start of a plan!
