FTD: From Early Diagnosis to Treatment?

Objectives

• Pathophysiological mechanisms in sporadic FTD might differ from genetic FTD.
• C9orf testing is indicated in atypical late-onset psychiatric disorders.
• Mental rigidity patterns and non-verbal semantic deficits are understudied in the diagnosis of FTD.
• The behavioral variant of Alzheimer’s disease is an important differential diagnosis of FTD.
