Grand Rounds | Chasing Healthy Outcomes During COVID-19 Times
Objectives:
1. Describe UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland’s Primary Clinic's Chasing Healthy Outcomes Clinic which provides more intense support to achieve healthy behavioral changes.
2. Identify how COVID-19/shelter in place has impacted children and adolescents’ weight particularly in the African-American and Latino communities.
3. Recognize how food insecurity, dietary intake, and physical activity challenges during the pandemic affect clinic practice.
4. Recommend practical tools to help families during shelter-in-place and the pandemic.
