Skill-Building Workshop Series: Harnessing the Power of Visual Imagery for Teaching and Learning
In this six-workshop series, instructional designers in Technology Enhanced Education share visual communication tips you need to know to improve your lectures and presentations. You will gain practical, useful, and immediately deployable skills that will reinforce your teaching. You will be able to make quick and lasting improvements to your lectures and presentations to improve student learning.
Each one-hour active-learning workshop includes hands-on demos. Bring a laptop so you can follow along.

The Future is Here: Virtual Reality and Medical Education
If you haven’t tried VR yet, it’s time you do. In this workshop we’ll introduce you to the latest VR tools and show you how they are being used. You’ll also get to try it for yourself. We’re pretty sure you’ll leave a little awe-struck.
