Interprofessional Education and Practice Workshop Series

In a collaboration with the Center for Innovation in Interprofessional Education, RaDME is initiating a 12-part workshop series, Interprofessional Education and Practice. Scott Reeves, PhD, who joined UCSF recently, is taking the lead on the series.  Topics cover a range of issues from a broad perspective, as Scott’s role as a sociologist is complemented with the perspectives and experiences of other health professionals such as pharmacists, social workers, dentists, nurses, physicians, and physical therapists in teaching the workshops. Taking place on monthly on Thursdays in alternating morning and afternoon time slots, the workshops are two hours long, have interactive components, and cover different aspects of interprofessional education for an audience of UCSF faculty from all the professional schools.  Faculty who complete the series are eligible for a certificate recognizing their efforts.  Sessions in the series are available for registration now, with more coming soon. Workshops need not be taken in sequence. Read more at: http://meded.ucsf.edu/radme/educational-skills-workshops
